Happy New Year! The last few weeks have flown by and here we are well into January! The week leading up to Christmas was super busy getting last minute wrapping done, packing, and prepping for our Christmas Eve Service. We left early Christmas morning to drive to my parents’ house and spent a few days with them in Pittsburgh. Then we drove to DC to spend time with Jesse’s family for New Years. We had so much fun with our families and are so blessed to have had the chance to spend time with them.
Today I wanted to look back at 2015 and recap some of my favorite moments from last year. So here are a few…
One of my most favorite memories from 2015 was when Jesse baptized me in January at our church in Bloomington. It was so, so special!
In February, Jesse and I headed to Chicago for a little Valentine’s weekend trip. It was sooo cold, but so fun! If you haven’t figured it out by now…we love traveling! I love exploring new cities with Jesse. He makes the best travel partner!
After months of hard work, I officially launched Current Bliss in May! I am still constantly learning new things about the blogging world but it’s been such a fun process so far (and I’m so thankful for my patient photographer husband!).
At the end of May we headed to the Outer Banks with my family and lots of friends!
We spent a few days in Cincinnati with Jesse’s parents in June.
July 24th was moving day! We packed up the uHaul and officially moved to Pittsfield. We spent the next few months getting settled into our new home.
We headed to San Francisco in October for my Father-in-law’s military retirement ceremony. It was so fun checking out the city with family!
For Jesse’s birthday in November, we headed to St. Louis for an overnight trip!
There was lots of traveling and lots of fun in 2015! And we got to round out the year spending time with both of our families over Christmas and New Years! It was a perfect way to end the year. This year held lots of change and new experiences, but I’m thankful for all of it! A lot can happen in a year…right? I’m looking forward to see what this new year will bring! xo.
