Last Friday I shared Part 1 of my trip to San Francisco with e.l.f. cosmetics. Today let’s pick up where we left off…
Last week I mentioned that we had the chance to create our very own custom palette. I was so excited to do this!! I chose 4 different powders – a highlight shade (which is so soft and pretty!), two blushes (one neutral shade and one a little more vibrant), and a contour/bronzing shade. We were able to name our palette and I had Current Bliss engraved on mine. 😉 (It was hard to only choose 4 colors!)
It was definitely a special treat and such a personalized experience! It was one of the highlights of the trip for sure!
We then had a short break to head back to our rooms and I found this surprise waiting for me – a super cute workout outfit from Old Navy. (I have linked all the items here so you can check them out – leggings, tank top, sports bra – they are all currently on sale!) Old Navy is one of my absolute favorite places to buy athletic wear, so I was very excited to see this in my room! The following morning we would be putting these new outfits to good use.
During lunch we heard from the lovely Anabella Daily, the founder of Map My Makeup. It was great to hear her story and her tips for us. We then had the amazing chance to hear from celebrity makeup artist, Spencer Barnes! It was exciting to hear from him and see him in action!
After his session was over, we all rode in shuttles and the e.l.f team took us to SFMOMA – the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. We spent a few hours walking around taking it all in!
Later that night we all went out on a dinner cruise! This was another highlight for sure! The yacht was so pretty and the views were incredible! We had the entire upper deck to ourselves – an indoor area to eat dinner and an outside deck to take in all the views! It was such an amazing way to see the city and end the day! I don’t know what was more beautiful – seeing the city during the day or at night!
It was such an amazing way to see the city and end the day! We arrived back at the hotel to find our engraved custom palette laying on our bed 🙂 Such an amazing day!
At the beginning of the trip, we all had the choice of taking a sight-seeing walk around the city or to do yoga on the rooftop terrace. I chose to sight-see around the city, and so Sunday morning began with just that with us all wearing our new workout clothes courtesy of Old Navy!
Our tour guide was so nice and it was such a fun way to see the city! (Oh and San Francisco has a lot of hills! It was a definite workout! But the views were all worth it!)
After our walk, we headed back to the hotel for the final event. A bunch of makeup vanities were all set up in one of the conference rooms. We had the chance to play around with a bunch of e.l.f. products, get our makeup done by a makep artist, and eat some brunch. Weylie (ilikeWeylie on Youtube) was there and announced her face palette collab with e.l.f. (Check out my last post to see more details on e.l.f.’s product collaborations with three Youtubers). Everyone got to hang out in there until our shuttles arrived to take us to the airport. Before we left, we were told to take home as many of the makeup products as we wanted to that were around the room….so although my e.l.f. Instagram giveaway is now over…. I will be having ANOTHER giveaway with some more amazing e.l.f. products here on my blog soon. So stay tuned!!!
Again, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at e.l.f. cosmetics. The fact that I was given this incredible opportunity was a dream come true. The entire e.l.f. team was so sweet and I am so thankful to have this relationship with such an amazing company.
This weekend is one that I will never forget! Thank you all for your love and support! xo.
